Materials

Inantdesign is committed to creating design pieces that embody sustainability without compromising on quality and functionality. This approach is grounded in the careful selection of innovative, eco-conscious materials that reflect a vision of responsible, forward-thinking design.

The main material used is PLA (polylactic acid), a biodegradable polymer derived from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugarcane. Unlike traditional petroleum-based plastics, PLA is made from plant-based sugars, offering a more sustainable and environmentally conscious alternative. For technical reasons, Inantdesign incorporates other recyclable and durable materials such as PETG (glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate) and TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). PETG provides high resistance and durability, while TPU offers flexibility and strength, making them suitable for various design applications. These materials enhance product longevity and support a circular approach through reuse and recyclability.

This thoughtful choice of materials reflects a commitment to responsible manufacturing practices, reducing environmental impact while delivering refined, high-quality design pieces.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Inantdesign provides the following instructions, which are essential for preserving the quality and longevity of each design piece, while ensuring sustainability and preventing waste.

  • Due to the heat deformability of biodegradable materials, it is recommended not to clean the products in the dishwasher, but rather with cold water and a dry cloth.
  • As eco-friendly and biodegradable materials could overheat and become damaged, it is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
